Since I was really young, I dreamed of becoming a part to any medical works (doctor / nurse). My family thought too that it's a great idea since our family is really a family of sickness. We have hypertension, diabetes mellitus, asthma, and obesity in the blood line. Being in this family is no joke really because we have don'ts and does to follows but some of the don'ts really are not being followed because of stubbornness I think that's being a Lariosa - Gilsana.
When I finished high school,I really don't have anything in mind on what to pursue since my mind went flipped. HAHA. And I was just shocked when I found myself climbing upstairs to the Nursing Office of my alma mater. Whoa! I just got myself enrolled in a course without thinking of what's going to happen. I can't withdraw easily because I really don't have anything in mind too what course to enroll. I take the challenge and seize every moment that comes by.
I was not really a student with awards thing. I just exert an average of effort to every tasks. Yeah. Average since i really don't know what I want in life. Then here comes my junior years where i think i did a lot of things that i too am proud of. Here comes the tarp making project in our Nursing Informatics class. I think I awed some of my classmates of my work because there were at least 4-6 people who asked me to make their project. My Adobe skills is really not that superb. I just play with the colors, brushes and any other function of the Photoshop. That playing costs me a lot $$$. HAHA.
Here comes the last year of my college life. I promise to myself at that time that I should do the best I could and have fun with it. We have series of activities but one thing that I would never forget is the Emergency Nursing simulation. I was really proud to say that among all of the participants in that activity I was chosen and awarded as the "Best Victim". Hurray!
Our batch is really the awesomest! Does that word exist? We experienced for the first time in USJR's College of Nursing what it feels like when lower years gave you a send off party -- Senior's Tribute party. We all knew what happened the night before that day. A lot were complaining including me why we're required to bring our duty uniforms. We didn't know that later after the Baccalaureate Mass and our final Pinning ceremony practice we would be heading home. The college planned a party for us seniors. When we arrived at the location (USJR Main Campus Lobby) my jaw drops and tears accumulate around my eyes. These guys really know how to throw a surprise party.
The day ends and I sleep with a big smile on my face. Thank you so much!
The next day when I woke up it's our Graduation Day! Yey! Cheers to the hardwork, time, sleepless nights I'd invest. Surely those who work hard for their future can attain what they wanted to be! And yes! I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree! Thank you to my family, friends, mentors who always believe in me.

One thing that I'll always be proud of is that on that day (October 1, 2011 -- one year to be exact. It's October 1, 2012 today!), our block was very eager to win making it the over all champion of the activity. Cheers Block 3! Whitey-Whitey-White-Teen-Teen.
Second Semester came really fast. We had series of activities like the start of our review for Nursing Licensure Exam, presentation for our Research, duties, passing of requirements and accomplishing cases both in the Operating Room and Delivery Room. Phew.
Our retreat comes and reunited with the Lord. I know He's been with me at my every battle. I thank Him for giving me overpowering strength and courage. Thank you Lord! Alleluia.
A view of their surprise from the bus.
**I Could Not Ask For More was playing when I was writing this part :( **
